GBP specs even more net long - Nomura

For the week ended July 1, non-commercial accounts bought $0.8bn of GBP, bringing sterling to the most net long it has been since 2007, notes Nomura FX Strategists.

NZ budget deficit projected lower-than-expected

According to the New Zealand Treasury, the country's 11-month budget deficit is NZ$332m lower than previously thought, standing at NZ$1.099bn.
