Italy's Salvini hints at compromise on 2019 budget deficit goal

In an interview with the Italian newswire Adnkronos on Sunday, the Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini offered some fresh insights on the Italian budget debate, Reuters reports.

 When asked whether the target of 2.4% of GDP for the Italian public deficit was untouchable,

“I think no one is stuck to it.”
