JPY futures: down trends looks limited

Preliminary figures for JPY futures markets from CME Group noted open interest shrunk by just 686 contracts on Wednesday from Tuesday’s final 205,643 contracts. In the same direction, volume decreased by around 18.3K contracts.

USD/JPY neutral, supported at 111.60

USD/JPY’s decline appears limited amidst shrinking open interest and volume, while the 111.60 region emerges as a strong support for the time being, all amidst the broad consolidative theme seen in the last couple of weeks.
