US: Goods and services deficit was $48.7 billion in October, up $3.8 billion from September
"The goods and services deficit was $48.7 billion in October, up $3.8 billion from $44.9 billion in September, revised. October exports were $195.9 billion, down less than $0.1 billion from September exports," the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis jointly announced on Tuesday.

Year-to-date, the goods and services deficit increased $49.1 billion, or 11.9 percent, from the same period in 2016.
