Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 143 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6017 from 6.5874) and 38 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.5979. The basket implied change is 43 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6022 from 6.5979)."
