New Zealand jobs beats expectations

FXStreet (Bali) - The New Zealand employment report for Q4 came upbeat, with the employment change at 1.1% vs 0.6% expected and 1.2% prior, while the exchange rate stood at 0.6% vs 6% expected and 6.2% prior. Participation rate for Q4 stood at 68.9 vs 68.6% expected and 68.6% prior. The average hourly earnings for Q4 were 0.3% vs +0.1% expected and 1.6% prior. Overall, a strong report, as suggested by Craig Ebert, Senior Economist at Bank of New Zealand.
