USD/CAD hits 6-day low

The Canadian dollar strengthened Monday and dragged the USD/CAD to a 6-day low amid a softer greenback and helped by better-than-expected Canadian GDP.

The US Reuters/Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index grew to 82.5 in December, from 75.1 recorded the previous month, according to data released by the Reuters/University of Michigan. Analysts expected an increase to 83.0.
