Rates should remain low throughout 2018 – FOMC’s J.Bullard
At his speech today, James Bullard, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, said rates should remain at low levels throughout 2018, adding that only one hike should be needed in the foreseeable future.
Bullard has also ruled out the US economy could step into recession, despite the low growth trend and low inflation.
