Fitch affirms Australia at 'AAA'; outlook Stable

According to the latest press release, Fitch Ratings has affirmed Australia's long-term foreign and local currency ratings at AAA and outlook at stable.

Australia's senior unsecured foreign- and local-currency bond ratings are also affirmed at 'AAA'. The Country Ceiling is affirmed at 'AAA' and the Short-Term Foreign Currency IDR at 'F1+'.

Meanwhile, AUD/USD remains unperturbed by the Fitch affirmation, and remains capped below 0.75 barrier, down -0.35% on the day.
