LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of Lead, Zinc, Aluminium and Nickel, while Copper stocks increased.

Copper stocks increased by 4300 tonnes, resuming its upsurge for the 10th week in a row. On the other hand, aluminium inventories declined 4700 tonnes, while Zinc stocks got subtracted by 4100 tonnes. While, stock levels of lead and nickel decreased by 225 and 708 tonnes respectively.

Gold inches higher

Gold prices inched higher, taking cues from the sharp rise in other safe haven asset, Japanese Yen. Prices also received support after the Riksbank cut interest rates to negative territory and announced a QE program.
